Our Story

Ethical Is Not Just a Claim

Since 2010, Bapak Budianto has dedicated his life to proving that premium civet coffee can be produced without sacrificing animal welfare.

Founder Profile

Bapak Budianto

Bapak Budianto started MB Luwak Coffee in Desa Sindangjaya, Cipanas, Cianjur in 2010 with one simple vision: to prove that premium civet coffee can be produced ethically. He pioneered the semi-natural enclosure system in West Java, ensuring civets are never confined in stressful conditions.

Today, our civets live in an environment designed to resemble their natural habitat — with local plants, ample movement space, and a feeding schedule that prioritizes fresh seasonal fruits.
